Welcome to everyone to penang.org! So, what is the purpose of this site? Here is what I envision this site to eventually become:

1) A online gathering point for Penangites, both living locally and overseas, Penang residents, and those who have a soft spot for Penang.

2) This site has Facebook integration, so you can either register a new account with us, or use your Facebook profile to sign up. This reduces the hassle of remembering a new username and password.

3) Online discussion via the forum

4) Post your classifieds via our classifieds section.

5) Find people who has similar interests. If you can't find an existing group, create one!

6) A travel guide for visitors to Penang

7) Everybody is welcomed to add more information, and reviews. Remember to post up your favourite eating spots. We are open to ideas, and feel free to post your thoughts in the forum.
